Welcome to the Covid Community Kindness Project! Thank you Essential Workers Colouring Poster - Week 1
Have you seen those posts going around social media asking to share something positive that's come from Covid? The days are getting so long, and so much uncertainty and frightening news still... I think we all need something to lift our spirits and help us through this next chapter.
Here's one positive thing that comes to mind for me (aside from the successful potty training we've managed to do in isolation, that is!) - seeing all the creative kindness that's popping up in communities and around the world. The big things like the massive music fundraisers and the small things like neighbours reaching out to see who needs anything from the grocery store. People around the globe are responding to chaos with kindness, and it's never been needed more.
Which is why we have decided to launch the Covid Community Kindness Project! It's always our goal to actively engage kids and support parents in practising kindness and building the social-emotional skills like gratitude, empathy, global citizenship and more that will serve them long term.
During the month of May, we'll be sharing FREE printables and activities that will help you and your kids stay positive, focussed, and KIND, and be that "something positive" that's coming out of this pandemic.
This week, grab our "Thank you Essential Workers" poster here. Just print, colour and hang in your windows to show your support for all those helping our communities stay safe and strong. Or write a letter on the back and send it to someone special who's working one of those jobs for an extra special thank you.
We're in this together and are better together.
Sending love and kindness,
xo Maran
